Marketing that serves the whole community.
Residents want answers, visitors want a reason to come and businesses want a reason to stay. We plan and build the websites, campaigns and content that help municipalities reach all three, with accessibility and accountability built in from day one.

Accessible websites, tourism, economic development, resident communications and recruitment.
A named project lead, a clear scope and reporting your council can read.
Some public sector work is covered by confidentiality agreements. We share relevant examples on a call.
From the first RFP to the final report.

01Learn the mandate+
We start with your strategic plan, your audiences and the approvals each piece of work needs to pass through.
02Scope it properly+
You get a detailed proposal with every deliverable listed, ready for procurement, budget approval or a council report.
03Build and create+
Websites, campaigns and content are produced to WCAG 2.1 AA, written in plain language and delivered in French when you need it.
04Report and improve+
Plain-language reporting shows what residents and visitors did, and what we will change next.
- Accessible municipal websites (AODA, WCAG 2.1 AA)
- Website redesigns and content restructuring
- Tourism and destination marketing
- Economic development and investment attraction
- Resident communications and engagement campaigns
- Social media management and content calendars
- Recruitment campaigns for municipal roles
- Branding, brand guidelines and print
- Google and Meta advertising
- Email newsletters
A municipal website is often the busiest front counter in town. When residents cannot find a bylaw, a collection schedule or a council agenda, they call. When visitors cannot picture the trip, they choose somewhere else. Good public sector marketing is clear, accessible and easy to find, and it has to stand up to scrutiny.
- Your website is hard to navigate or behind on accessibility
- You are planning a tourism or investment attraction campaign
- Your communications team needs extra hands
- You need a partner who can work through a formal procurement process

Municipal marketing questions, answered.
What clerks, communications leads and economic development teams ask us before they reach out. Have a different question? Ask us directly.
Do you respond to RFPs?
Yes. We respond to RFPs, RFQs and invitations to quote for websites, campaigns and communications work. Send yours to info@newdaymarketing.co and we will let you know well before the deadline if it is a good fit.
Will our website meet AODA requirements?
Ontario’s AODA requires public sector organizations to meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA on their websites. We design and build to WCAG 2.1 AA, test before launch and show your team how to keep new content accessible. Our AODA guide covers the basics.
Can you create content in French?
Yes. We deliver bilingual websites, campaigns and social content, with French translation by professional translators and both versions reviewed before anything goes live.
Can you work with our communications team instead of replacing it?
Yes, and most of the time that works best. We can take on a single project, add capacity during busy seasons or handle the pieces your team does not have time for.
How do approvals work with council or senior staff?
We build approval steps into the timeline from the start, give you plain-language summaries for reports and leave room for feedback rounds without letting the schedule slip.
Can you help with tourism and economic development?
Yes. We plan and run campaigns that bring visitors in and show businesses why your community is a good place to invest, with the website, content, ads and email all working together.
Do you offer ongoing or multi-year agreements?
Yes. We offer monthly retainers and longer-term agreements for social media, website care and campaigns, with scope and deliverables set out in writing.
Can you show examples of public sector work?
Some of our public sector and corporate work is covered by confidentiality agreements, so it is not shown on this site. We are glad to walk you through relevant examples on a call.
