Home/Industries/Marketing for Tourism

Marketing for the places visitors go home and talk about.

Visitors choose tours, retreats and attractions weeks before they arrive, usually on a phone and often from out of province. We build the website, the booking path and the content that put you on their itinerary.

What we handle

Websites, online booking, content, social, ads and partnerships.

How it runs

A plan built around your season, with the off-season used to set up the next one.

Who you are marketing to

Four kinds of visitor, four ways they decide.

Each one plans differently, so each one gets a different part of the plan.

01

Day trippers

Ontario and Quebec visitors deciding on the drive. Google, maps and short video do most of the work.

02

Weekend planners

People comparing a few options a week or two out. Reviews, photos and easy booking win.

03

Visitors from the United States

Cross-border guests who want clear prices, directions and what to expect before they make the trip.

04

Groups and tours

Schools, clubs and tour operators booking months ahead, who need group pages and fast replies.

Shoulder seasons

The months that make or break the year.

Summer mostly sells itself. May, June, September and October need a push. We plan offers, content and ads for the shoulder months, so the season starts earlier and ends later.

In the off-season, we refresh the website, line up next year's content and sell gift cards and early bookings.

How we help

How we get you on the itinerary.

The pieces we put in place for a tour, attraction or retreat.

01Know your visitor

Where they come from, when they plan and what they compare you against.

02Show the experience

Content and drone footage by our media partners, shot on days planned around weather and your busiest moments.

03Make booking simple

Online booking linked from your website, Google listing and social, built to work on a phone.

04Get recommended

Reviews, partner listings and itinerary content that put you in front of people planning a trip to the area.

What we handle
  • Website design with online booking
  • Google Business Profile and maps
  • Content and drone with our media partners
  • Social media management
  • Meta and Google advertising
  • Email for past guests
  • Partnerships and itinerary content
  • Brochures, rack cards and signage
  • Content in English and French
Why it matters

Travel is a visual decision. People want to picture themselves on the boat, the trail or the dock before they book. Great content and a booking path that works on a phone turn that picture into a reservation.

Sounds familiar if
  • Your season starts late and ends early
  • Bookings still happen by phone or email
  • Your photos are years old
  • You want more visitors from outside the region

Questions we hear

Tourism marketing questions, answered.

What tour operators and attraction owners ask us. Something else? Get in touch.

How far ahead do visitors plan?

It varies. Day trippers decide the same day, weekend visitors a week or two out and groups months ahead. We plan content and ads for each, so you are visible whenever they are deciding.

Should we take bookings online?

Yes. Many visitors book outside business hours, often on a phone. An online booking system linked from your website and Google listing removes the biggest barrier.

How do we reach visitors from the United States?

Targeted ads in nearby states, clear information on prices, directions and what to expect, and listings on the sites they already use to plan trips.

Can you create French content?

Yes. We work with professional translators to deliver content in English and French for visitors from Quebec and beyond.

Who creates the photos, video and drone footage?

Our media partners shoot your experience, often on the water or the trail, on days we plan around the weather and your busiest moments.

How do we get more reviews on travel sites?

Ask at the right moment, usually right after the experience, with a direct link. We set up the follow-up so it happens every time.

What should we do in the off-season?

Refresh the website, plan next year's content, build partnerships and sell gift cards and early bookings for next season.
